VILLAGE
Village is a wine made mostly from Albariño, Treixadura and other varieties. Old vineyards bought over the years in the village of Gomariz. This wine comes from the century-old vines of As Viñas, O Forcadal and younger ones from Os Canos. A mixture of plots from the same village. A “village” is a village wine.
The combination of different plots that provide depth, elegance and concentration. The complexity, freshness and aromatic intensity are provided by the Albariño. The mouthfeel is sweet, round, intense, elegant, from the Treixadura. The originality, the minority grapes. The unprecedented texture in the mouth is from the clay soils; the structure, from the Treixadura; and the schists of Gomariz highlight the mineral notes, fused together with a balanced acidity that lengthens the wine in the mouth. A wine with finesse, elegance, intensity and complexity. The personality and history of a wine that shows all the greatness of the village where it is born.
Image: It is a recreation of an image of the town of Gomariz seen from the other side of the river, where the church and the winery of the historic Granxa de Gomariz stand out.
Winemaking: New oval foudre fermentation by plots, which were mixed before bottling.
Tasting notes: High intensity aromas on the nose. Notes of flowers, fruits, aromatic herbs, spices, mineral hints.
Very wide, fresh, direct, elegant balanced mouthfeel. Very long and intense finish. A unique wine with character that improves in the bottle.
