LOS PEROS GARNACHA

This wine stands out for its manual harvest and spontaneous fermentation. With a bright, low-layer ruby ​​colour, it displays an aromatic intensity with notes of fruit on the nose. On the palate, its voluptuous entry reveals red fruits and a delicious persistence. A wine with depth, mineral character and a touch of herbal and floral elegance.

Garnacha from the Los Peros area at 850 metres above sea level, old vines, around 100 years old, granite soils with outcrops of red granite (episienite). The vineyard is located within a ZEPA (Special Protection Area for Birds) area and the Natura 2000 network. Dry-land vineyard, with traditional goblet training and organically cultivated, registered with the CAEM (Organic Agriculture Committee of the Community of Madrid). Harvested manually in 15 kg boxes. Spontaneous fermentation, gentle maceration for 60 days with whole grapes. Aged for 1 year in a 3,000-litre French oak cask.

Tasting notes

A clean and bright ruby ​​red colour with a low layer. With a high aromatic intensity on the nose, we perceive aromas of red fruit, such as ripe cherry and black fruit such as blackberry. Spices such as black pepper and a light balsamic touch. Very voluptuous, energetic and vibrant on the palate, where we find red fruit such as ripe strawberry. Balsamic spices such as cedar and sandalwood. A very tasty and persistent wine.
