BARDOS SUPREMA
Varieties: Tinta del País.
Vineyard: Selected old vineyards with low production located in Moradillo de Roa. Two small vineyards stand out, over 80 years old, located at more than 940 meters above sea level.
Extreme climate. Sandy loam soils with pebbles on the surface and layers of clay in depth.
Harvest: Manual harvest on October 13.
Production: Maceration for 14 days. Fermentation with native yeasts in a 9,000-kilo vat. Malolactic fermentation in French and Eastern European oak barrels.
Aging: 18 months in new French and Eastern European oak barrels.
Alcohol content: 14.8% Vol.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Visual: Violet color with a very high layer, almost opaque.
Nose: Very mature aromas stand out, with notes of liquor and compote, black fruits, plum, dried apricots, as well as smoky touches, coffee and cocoa.
Palate: A thread of acidity runs through the entire mouth, showing that it is a mature but very lively wine, full of complexity and nuances. It is very enveloping, with very polished tannins and no
edges, a cult wine.
