CHAMPAGNE MAILLY GRAND CRU BRUT RÉSERVE
This Champagne is made from grapes harvested in villages classified exclusively as Grand Cru, right at the top of the Champagne quality hierarchy.
It is composed of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay: a remarkable balance.
Mailly Brut Reserve draws its complexity from a rich blend of base wines from over 600 plots, combined with 30-40% of reserve wines aged in tank and oak from 10 different vintages.
The wine will then be aged partly in slats underground in traditional chalk pits and partly in barrels that will make up the reserve wines. Alcoholic fermentation at 15° and malolactic fermentation in barrels and stainless steel tanks with temperature control.
Full and fruity nose. The delicious notes of lightly toasted bread with butter make it the ideal Champagne to spark conversation. Clean palate, with seductive bubbles that literally burst with delicious fruit.
Perfect as an aperitif and throughout lunch or dinner with pike-perch on a bed of leeks, chicken breast, fresh chaource cheese and at the end of the meal with an apple tart.
