Viñas Murillo is a family winery under the Rueda Designation of Origin. It was founded in 2019 by the García Cano brothers, a family with a long winemaking tradition. Our essence lies in respect and care for the past, for our lands and our roots. We have very old pre-phylloxera vines that, together with the experience acquired over generations in the cultivation of vines and using the most modern technologies, allows us to produce white wines with a marked character and identity of the Verdejo variety. Wines with personality made with raw materials coming, in part, from pre-phylloxera vines cultivated for centuries on land that, combined with the adverse climate of the area with short summers, with large temperature fluctuations and low rainfall and very cold winters, lead to scarce but high-quality harvests. Our winery has the latest technology for the care of the musts and subsequent wines, as we have tangential filtration, equipment for the cold stabilization of the wines (the stabilization being more natural and less aggressive, since no type of chemical agent is used), inertization of all the processes from the reception of the grape-must to bottling. We also have R&D projects, our tanks are sensorized to quickly and accurately control all the changes that occur in the must during fermentation, as well as the study of reductions, etc. …
